Linger On

I know it has been awhile since I have written anything here. It has been very busy. Victorian novels, shakespeare, and history readings are really taking their toll. I have actually reverted back to using my reading glasses, which I haven't really needed in about 5 months. But with all this reading, my eyes get tired, as well as my brain and overall emotional state. You'd think that after being around me for awhile, people would understand that I get quiet when I'm mad. Anyways, I just been very closed-mouthed lately. I've also be quite down lately. I don't know if its the pressure of school and the fact that a recreational band rejected me, or if it's just me. *Sidenote: Roger, you are a dink. I don't care how "trained" your ear is, I still think that you are full of yourself.*
So currently I've been listening to R.e.m.'s "Pale Blue Eyes." I think it really embodies everything I've been feeling....and its a really good song. I keep falling in love with this band everytime I listen to them. Especially when I get yet another one of their cds. (Thanks Jeff, really awesome!)
I ran into Peter on the subway, after not seeing him for about 2 years, which was really nice. It always kinda strange when I run into people on the subway. It always seemed like such a public space, and it always seems weird to see some familiarity in it. And again, maybe that's just me.
Well Happy Turkey Day to anyone who is reading this.
Until my next post....
