Soundtrack of my Life apparently...
I stole this from Scott's facebook notes and did my own...hurray for copycating. I have over 1400 songs on my windows player, so this should be interesting! So, here's how it works:
1. Open your music library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle/Random
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Write a tiny blurbYOU CAN’T CHEAT OR SKIP SONGS!
Opening Credits:
- Who's going to ride your wild horses? by U2 *I think thats a pretty good choice. Best choice to be sure.
Waking Up:
- Gimme Some Lovin' by the Blues Brothers *That kinda makes me want to get up in the morning!
- Miles from the Sun by Bush *Makes sense to me!
- Warning Sign by Coldplay *Definitely true
- Dido and Aeneas, Recitative "Thy Hand, Belinda!" by Henry Purcell *For those of you who don't know, this is an opera song about a woman who dies b/c her heart was broken. Although this might not apply totally to me, it still seems funny that this came up...
- Beast Of Honor by Melissa Auf Der Maur *Almost ironic
- Theme song to Patch Adams *That is so correct it's almost scary
- Overture to Jesus Christ Superstar *Wow...if you've ever heard this then it pretty much describes things sometimes
- Road Trippin by Red Hot Chili Peppers *Anyone who knows me, knows I don't drive, but if I did, this would be a top choice.
- Paint it Black by The Tea Party *I just like this cover. I don't know how it would be a flashback, but I guess it would be b/c I've been diggin this song for a long time.
- Laughing by The Guess Who *Aw that's sweet, but getting back together never happens.
- Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin *Oh Totally right, but not my wedding song :P That would be a different song, therefore Windows Media player fails.
- All my Love by Led Zeppelin *That's lyrically correct I suppose
- Simple Kind of Life by No Doubt *This scared me b/c this song has a different meaning to me that this.
- The Steward of Gondor by Howard Shore; sung by Billy Boyd (LOTR:Return of the King) *this made me laugh.
- Dying by Hole *this made me laugh even harder. Go figure?!
- Silentium by Avro Part *wow that's beautiful
- We are Not Alone by Karla DeVito *hahahaha
- Canada's Loser Prime Ministers by Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie *I'll be PM until Hell Gets Cold!!!!
Well that was kind of interesting...I did get a few suprising results, but it was still a good way to kill some time.
